Board Members' Biographies

Richard "Beau" Weaver

Beau Weaver was born and raised in Poland, graduating from PSHS in 1978.

After graduating from Ashland University in 1982, he began a 28 year sales management career with Hormel Foods as a sales trainee in Cleveland, Ohio. An advancement took him to Charleston, South Carolina in 1984 before he accepted another move to greater responsibility in North Canton, Ohio in 1986. His move back to Poland in 1998 coincided with a promotion in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania market. In April, 2010, he was named to his current position as sales Manager of Hormel's Mass Merchandising and Convenience Store business for the entire U.S.

Mr. Weaver recently celebrated 22 years of marriage to his wife Dianna. They have two children: Ashlee, a freshman at PSHS; and Beau, a 6th grader at McKinley.

He remains active in the community and serves on the Board for the Poland Schools Foundation for Education Excellence, Poland Swim and Tennis Club, and Poland Riverside Cemetery. Additionally, he enjoys coaching youth sports and being involved with all of his children's activities.
