Love Rocks!

You never know where or when you will find inspiration or a message of love and kindness. If you happen to find a small rock with a fabric heart on it, it’s a small dose of love from sixth grade students at Poland Middle School.

“The hope that it just makes their day,” said a Poland MIddle School School student.

Mrs. Shaffer’s sixth students made Love Rocks after Zooming with Canfield native, Susan Dieter-Robinson, who now lives on the West Coast. Robinson shared with students how her two young daughters were killed in a tragic accident. Following their death, she started making Love Rocks to spread love. Love Rocks have showed up across the globe, and you might find one in Poland soon.

“I hope this rock means that you are not alone, and don’t feel bad on yourself,” said a Poland Middle School student. “Even if you have had a bad time with someone or just anything, remember that someone is always there for you. “
