USDA Announces Free Meals

The USDA announced that all students attending the Poland Local Schools are eligible for free meals, whether they are attending in person or remote. Families with children who are not yet school-age are also eligible to obtain meals under this program, so please share this information with family members and friends.    

 All In-person students can obtain a free lunch and any meals previously purchased this week by in-person students will find their funds credited to their account.  

For remote learners or non-Poland School Aged Families with children, orders can be placed via email to Megan Roemer at mroemer@polandschools.org or by phone at (330)757-7000 ext. 5.  Orders must be placed by 12 Noon each Friday to arrange for Monday pickup.  

Meals will be available for curbside pick-up from 9:30am-10:30am every Monday outside of the District Offices facing the stadium.  

Breakfast items will include a cereal bar, fruit, juice and milk.

Lunch items will include sandwiches, vegetables, fruit and milk. 

Distribution will take place in a drive thru fashion in order to promote social distancing and limit contact.
